Our client is seeking to recruit experienced finance operations improvement professionals to join our management team. The role will involve working with Ireland’s leading companies to deliver improved performance across all aspects of the finance function.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivery of advisory services to clients related to the finance function, including structure, processes, reporting requirements, and major projects impacting the function;
Managing and developing a team of professionals in this space;
Business and market development activities;
Requirements:
Successful applicants should have a strong finance function or related professional services background. Required for these roles are the following skills, experience and background:
Experience in the successful delivery of improvement/change projects in the finance function;
Qualified accountant with practical experience of accounting functions;
Excellent project management skills;
Strong appreciation of finance systems;
Excellent team leading, interpersonal and communication skills; and
Excellent drive, enthusiasm and commitment.
Practical experience in delivery of change and improvement projects in the finance function in some or all of the following areas is highly desirable:
Shared Service implementation or optimisation;
Management information and reporting improvement;
Close process improvement;
Finance process improvement – for example, working capital improvement, accounts receivable optimisation, accounts payable optimisation, procurement, etc.
Finance and/or change project management ;
Finance function strategy.
