New Product Development Manager (NPD Manager) Job in Co. Down
In partnership with its client CPL is currently seeking experienced New Product Development Manager for a food company based in Co. Down
The Client:
Our Client is a leading Food Manufacturer producing high quality products for the retail sector.
Job Role:
Candidates will be responsible for all stages in the process of bringing new products to the market, from development to the branding of the packaging.
You will be responsible for your own development projects from concept through to launch and will work closely with both suppliers and customer technologists.
Working closely with internal departments including technical, production and sales, you will be required to conduct trial tests, approve art work and nutritional labeling, whilst conducting presentations to new and existing customers.
Suitable applicants will be self motivated, able to work on their own initiative and have the ability to conceptualize and research new ideas. The successful applicant will give a giving creative approach to product problem solving and meet challenging deadlines.
Experience and skill set required:
- 3-4 years previous experience working within the Food Industry in a product development role
- 3-4 years management experience
- Ensure quality standards are adhered to implement measures for business improvement where appropriate
