Job description:

Our client is currently looking to recruit an IT Senior SharePoint Developer. The successful candidate will develop, maintain and integrate SharePoint solutions to meet the business needs of company internal users and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Design, code and test SharePoint applications, features and Web Parts
•Support and maintain deployed SharePoint solutions, including:
•Issue diagnosis
•Delivery of fixes and patch releases
•3rd line support
•Participate in the analysis and definition of requirements
•Maintain an excellent understanding of
•Current development technologies, tools and frameworks
•Agile approach to software development
•Company Standard Operating Procedures
•Participate in planning and estimation

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•3rd level qualification in a MIS related field
•Minimum of five years experience using Microsoft SharePoint/MOSS technologies, including:
•Architecting large scale SharePoint solutions
•Translating user requirements into SharePoint solutions
•Development of custom Web Parts and Applications
oUsing SharePoint technologies (SPD, InfoPath, Workflows)
oUsing the .NET framework and the SharePoint Object model in C#
*Minimum of three years experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .Net 2.0, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005, Oracle 9i, Java Script, OO Design
*Experience of Agile development approaches, including 
*Continual Integration and Incremental Development
*Scrum and/or XP
*Unit testing utilizing nUnit or similar
*Understanding of current Microsoft technologies including VSTS/TFS, .Net 3.0 / WCF
*Build scripting with nANT and/or Team Foundation Build
*Experience of software development within an FDA regulated environment
