Job description: Statistical Analyst;

Our client is looking  to recruit an experienced logistical inputter/mathematical expert to join their team in westport,Mayo.

Objective & Responsibilities
* Investigate, develop and implement quantitative investment decision
making tools using a variety of computer systems and financial databases.
* Use state of the art techniques and software in creating statistical
models to analyze and predict financial characteristics. Specific topics
of interest include risk analysis and return attribution.
* Help manage the day-to-day operations of a family of index funds

Requirements
*. Undergraduate degree i in a technical discipline, preferably
mathematics or statistics. Economics or finance acceptable if accompanied
by strong mathematical background.
* Or Advanced degree in statistics
* Substantial experience with SAs, SPSS
*.Be experienced with SQL, MYSQL or similar statistical/mathematical programming skills.
* Experience in a financial environment desirable but not required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to master complex tasks with minimal supervision

Salary:30-40,000k
