One of the worlds leading online organisations are currently expanding there team and have a number of contracts within their Operations department and are looking for an experienced Tech Support.
Responsibilities:
- Support users on all issues related to internal application tools
- Initial level of debugging and resolution (e.g. restarting edit server etc)
- Testing various releases of application tools
- Installing systems for new users
- Bug and feature request filing and working with dev team for their resolution
- Maintaining record of team specific inventory ( workstations, monitors)
- Small tool development ( specific to app and which can help improving ops efficiency)
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Computer Science Degree
· 3+years experience in Linux
· Hand on experience in shell scripting
· Good Knowledge on core Java
· Good knowledge on Perl scripting
· Hands on experience in MySQL Database
· Knowledge on LAMP
· Basic Knowledge on networking
· Knowledge on PHP is added advantage
