Job description:

Our client with European Headquarters based in Dublin now have a vacancy for a Finance Administrator.     This is a temporary role for approx 3-6 months duration. Fluent French or German essential.

In this position you will be responsible for management of problems that delay collections, including timely and effective communication with other departments. You will use analytical and investigative tools to manage your assigned customers.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

• Accounting/Finance Background is essential
  
• 1 year+ experience in Finance and/or Credit department is essential.
  
• Fluency in one of the following European Languages… German or French
  
• Excellent numerical, analytical and reporting skills are essential.
  
• Excellent Excel and PC skills are essential.

The Role:

• Customer claim resolution with ownership of claim report
  
• Reconciliation of customer statement with our ledger
  
• Managing the resolution of issues that impact customer payments. This will involve working closely and developing relationships with the Sales Support department, Shipping department and Customers
  
• Matching of Debit Notes against company Credit Notes
  
• Follow up on Credit Notes in approval cycle
  
• Investigating issues with Credit Notes and ensure all shortfalls are explained and resolved
  
• Review all contract and agreement relating to customers in the
  appointed regions and work on to ensure adherence to any terms and conditions
