Job description: Seafood Production Supervisor


In partnership with its client Kenny-Whelan is recruiting a Production Supervisor for a fish production plant based in Cork.


Responsibilities

Supervising processing, packaging and labelling operations.

Ensure all standard operating Procedures for production are adhered to.

Ensure all Food Safety and Quality systems (HACCP, BRC, ISO) are functional and adhered to at all times.

Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety procedures are adhered to on your shift.

Controlling conditions of production in order to satisfy customer and quality specifications.

Production planning

Oversee efficient handling of customer orders to guarantee on time delivery and high product quality.


Requirements

2-3 years Production Supervisor experience within Food Industry

Fish processing experience an advantage. Will look at meat/ chilled foods also.

Experience of leading a team and people management skills

Excellent knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Systems - HACCP, BRC.
