OTC Client Manager - VP- London
Our Client, a leader in the Financial Services Industry have a vacancy for an OTC Client Manager - VP for their London Office.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Client team delivers accurate and timely processing of OTC Derivatives Valuations in accordance with agreed internal SLAs for respective clients
- Ongoing management of the relationship with the clients serviced, including regular service reviews and visits
- Maintaining relationships with internal goups including Product Development, Relationship Management, Client Service and other internal groups who outsource derivatives operations to ensure high level service is maintained
- In conjunction with the on boarding team, support the take on of new business into the derivatives for existing client serviced and new business. Expected to play a critical role in shaping and defining operational model
- Provide staff management, development and review for direct reports, ensure Training & Competence requirements are met and maintained within the group. Expected to be a strong motivator
- Facilitate continual process review and pro-active management of change process. With support of the on boarding team fully evaluate implications of new requirements to existing process to ensure smooth take on of new business
- Strong linkage with Technology support group and expected to input in to Strategic
- Strong operations and/or client management experience with exposure to managing teams and complex operational processes
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, interaction and influencing skills
- Experience or working knowledge of OTC Derivatives processing preferable
- Knowledge of the fund accounting and NAV production processes preferable
- Knowledge of client reporting needs and accounting conventions typical with the groups client base
- Knowledge of WINs & Summit not a necessity but a distinct advantage
- Good background knowledge of all security types and their accounting treatment
- Self motivated, innovative and analytical
- Ability to work well both as an individual and part of a team
- Strong PC skills, particularly Excel, MS Project and Visio
- Comfortable at interacting with and communicating with all levels of Management, clients and 3rd Party Vendors
- A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through
- Good prioritisation and time management skills
- Experienced in directing and developing staff operating at a professional/technical level
