 CPL Cork has been retained by one of their key clients to partner in the sourcing and selection of a Production Operator.

Job Purpose: Part of the Operations team (Integrated Process Team-IPT) providing support to the filling processes at our Vaccines Formulation / Fill facility.

Duties and Responsibilities
Clean Room Cleaning/Materials Management

· Performs tasks that require aseptic gowning.

· Maintain clean rooms with appropriate cleaning and disinfection procedures. Includes mopping floors, walls and ceilings, wiping down equipment, removing waste and re-stocking supplies.

· Maintains housekeeping and 5S in all production areas.

· Manages receipt and storage of clean garments, re-stocking of garments, and removal of dirty garments.

· In all work follows current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), appropriate SOPs, safety programs, good documentation practices.

· Operates and/or monitors production support equipment to include but not be limited to: parts washers, autoclaves, portable tank CIP/SIP/storage panels, Vial Washer, Depyro Tunnel, Debagger and filling machines

· Uses automated systems including MES, DCS and PLC based systems.

· Manages equipment flow (reusable parts, tubing machines, portable tanks, stoppers) through the equipment wash and prep area. Includes tracking soiled and clean hold times, proper labelling and inventory management of clean and sterile equipment using Kanbans and using the automated MES system to set QC status and expiry of sterile equipment.

· Assembles various filter and tubing machines as per appropriate drawing.

· Loads components (syringes, vials, caps, etc.) to support on-going production.

· Perform TOR tracking; coordinate people and materials management

Candidate Requirements
· Cert/Diploma in Science/Engineering related discipline desired
· 2 - 5 years experience in the biotech / pharmaceutical industry
