Job description: Our client an international health insurance provider now have a vacancy for a Medical Services Advisor (Nurse) - Brazillian/Portuguese.

Working as a nurse advisor you will have responsibility for the following:

•Preauthorization of in-patient treatment.
• Aggressive cost containment through tight adjudication, correct evaluation of medical appropriateness and successful negotiation.
• Case management of complex cases.
• Maintain relationships with brokers/clients/providers.
• Medical claims reviews
• Ad hoc duties

Requirements:

• Nursing qualification
• Previous clinical nursing experience.
• Experience within in the insurance industry, ideally in healthcare
• Negotiation experience
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Completion or progression towards the Diploma in Private Medical Insurance.
