Job description:

Senior Network Engineer

Our client, a European leader in the recreation and retail sector are seeking to hire Senior Network Engineers for their new Dublin operations.

This is an opportunity for a Senior/Principle level Network Engineer to join a new operation and a growing company. You will be actively involved in the design and build of the company network and infrastructure and support a growing e-commerce and web-facing platform.

You will have at least 5 years experience as a network engineer, preferably at a senior level. You will be highly experienced with network/IP protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PIMv2, IPSEC, TACACS, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, MPLS and multicast. Ideally you will be certified to Cisco CCNP level or higher. Additionally you will have worked with monitoring systems such as Nagios and Cacti, have a good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows, have good knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Perl or Python and have worked in data centre and enterprise environments.
