Job description:

SALES MANAGER – CARLOW – €24K +

  

The Client:

 

Our client is a UK based retailer offering stylish, good quality products in clothing, footwear, accessories and home products. They distribute through three main channels: Retail, a chain of more than 500 stores in the UK and Eire; the Directory, a direct mail catalogue and transactional website with more than 2 million active customers; and International, with more than 170 stores overseas.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a sales team to ensure that they consistently deliver their targets,
• Deliver the "customer promise" consistently through your team across all consumer types,
• Coach and develop a team of highly motivated and target driven sales assistants,
• Controlling stock levels and assisting the Store and Deputy Managers in the day to day operations of the store,
• Manage employee relations issues such as performance and absenteeism.
  

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Be a strong leader with an excellent sales and customer service background,
• Have a vibrant personality with great interpersonal skills,
• Have the ability to inspire your team to deliver outstanding service to customers,
• Possess good interest and knowledge of your product,
• Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years retail management experience in fashion.
