Trainee Store Manager Job in Enniskillen

Job responsibilities for Trainee Store Manager Job in Enniskillen:

The Trainee Manager is responsible for managing and motivating the sales team members to ensure excellent customer service is delivered. As part of the management team, their objective is to drive sales by use of their own imitative to meet store targets and standards.

 

 

Job Tasks & Activities:

Customer Commitment:

· Promote and encourage sports sales team members to provide exceptional customer service

· Champions customer focus throughout daily activities

· Clearly understand customer needs (both internal and external) and responds to them appropriately and effectively

· Display excellent product knowledge to customers

· Analyse and develop the teams commitment towards customer service to improve standards

· Deal with customer queries and frustrations in an efficient and effective manner

· Promote a calm and pleasant environment for our customers

Communication:

· Liaise with your fellow management team, senior management, staff and customers in a professional, confident and friendly manner

· Assist management team in training and developing potential of new sales team members

· Utilise and communicate mystery shopper results with the management team and sports sales team members to identity training needs of staff

Planning and Organising:

· Open and close the store

· Plan and organise daily tasks

· Till, daily and weekly cash office duties

· Delegate tasks to team members

· Prioritise and adapt tasks according to the demands of the business

· Control of stock management

o Co-ordinating deliveries

o Organising recalls, reductions and amendments

· Participate in planning and conducting weekly meetings

· Implementation of merchandising standards

· Maintaining fire, health and safety standards

· General Administrative duties

· Organising staff; files, rotas and holidays rosters

· Ensure all team members adhere to Lifestyle Sports policies and procedures

Motivation and Drive:

· Set challenging but realistic targets to inspire the team to achieve store goals

· Encourage staff morale by displaying positive personal energy, drive and determination throughout the store

· Use of own initiative to develop trust and camaraderie in the team

Problem Solving:

· Evaluate daily queries and respond to them in a professional and positive manner

Mobility: The Trainee Manager must be available to travel to the stores specified in their contract.

 

Job requirements for Trainee Store Manager Job in Enniskillen

 

Key Requirements:

2) Essential Criteria:

· At least 1 years experience in a fast paced Retail environment

· A minimum of Leaving Certificate or equivalent

· Fluent in English

 

3) Desired Criteria:

· 2 years or more experience in a fast paced Sports Retail environment

· Third Level qualification in the sports and leisure industry/ management

· Previous management or key holder experience

· Knowledge of sports apparel, footwear and equipment
