Job description:

Orthoptist required for locum position in midlands hospital.

Basic or senior grade candidates considered, candidates will need to have at least 3 years post graduate experience in order to be considered for a senior post.

Working closely with the hospital ophthalmologist, the successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and management of disorders of ocular motility, binocular vision and visual development in children.

Interested candidates will have:

· A recognised Orthoptic degree from either the University of Liverpool or the University of Sheffield.

· Hold membership or be eligible for membership of the British and Irish Orthoptic Society
